Police turn up at Lil Wayne’s Miami home after four people reportedly shot

It’s been alleged that a gun battle has taken place at rapper Lil Wayne’s home in Miami Beach.

TMZ reports that police rushed to the rapper’s mansion as they’d had a phone call saying that four people had been shot – and the person on the phone claimed they wanted to shoot at police, too.

The website also reports that police have set up a cordon around the area.

The Young Money Twitter account has posted that Lil Wayne himself is OK, as he wasn’t home during the reported events.

He’s also tweeted a photo of himself in the recording studio.

The reported events take place just 11 days after police were called to Lil Wayne’s home – after it was reported that a “suspicious person” was hanging around.

It’s now that thought that these events could actually be something called “swatting”.

Swatting is when a prank call is made so that a police SWAT team is sent out to an unsuspecting victim’s home.
