So, Poundland have just launched a Twin Peaks chocolate bar. Looks familiar, right?

Sounds tasty?

Toblerone

Ok, so who remembers all that hoo-ha last year when the deliciousness that is Toblerone went from being the Toblerone we all know and love, to something a little bit, er, different?

It was something to do with the cost of ingredients. Brexit was blamed (of course) and generally everyone just went a little bit bonkers at the state of things.

Celebs got involved, for crying out loud.

Well, Poundland have responded to the universal outrage by launching their own version of the iconic choc. A faux-blerone, if you will.

It's actually called Twin Peaks, but if you didn't have your contacts in, you'd be forgivven for mistaking it for an actual Toblerone. That gold and red packaging...

Until you get inside and discover that it has TWO ROWS OF CHOCOLATE. Yes, Twin Peaks. Well done, Poundland.

Poundland trading director Barry Williams said: "Poundland shoppers are savvy, and the change in their favourite chocolate bar last Christmas didn't go unnoticed.

"That's why we've created a new £1 alternative for them – the size they wanted, with a British taste, and with all the spaces in the right places."

Where would we be without Pounland?
