EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa has won the Sexiest Female gong at the Inside Soap Awards, beating off stiff competition from Coronation Street's Georgia May Foote, Hollyoaks' Jennifer Metcalfe and Emmerdale's Natalie Anderson.
Jacqueline – who is pregnant with her and TOWIE star Dan Osborne’s first child – said she was “thrilled” to be nominated.
“Thank you so much for voting for me,” she told MailOnline. “It’s quite nice to have that kind of label considering I’m pregnant, it’s fabulous! I love getting dress up for big events – what girl doesn’t?
“You get to wear a big, long dress that you’d never normally, you don’t walk normally around in ball gowns, so it’s nice to get to look like a princess for the evening, it’s fun!”
She mentioned that she has a stylist because she’s “terrible” at shopping for herself, but has always been jealous of co-star Hetti Bywater – who played Lucy in the long-running soap – and her ability to wear anything.
The 21-year-old, who has starred as Lauren Branning since 2010, also spoke about her work, saying this has been her favourite year in *EastEnders *to date.
“It’s been really, really fun,” she went on.
“It's been nice to be a part of it of it all – it’s a nice feeling. And there’s so much exciting stuff coming up!”
