Prince Charles and Camilla get attacked by a giant bird. Sort of…

That guy’s got one hell of a wingspan, in fairness

Typical, isn’t it? You decide to treat your loved one to a relaxing day at the Sandringham, Flower Show in Norfolk; you know, check out some smashing geraniums and what not, and you get attacked by Zephyr the bald eagle. Sadly, this is something Prince Charles knows all too well.

Just to clear things up – when we say ‘attacked’, we mean mentally not physically – he didn’t actually lay a razor-sharp claw on Prince Charles or Camilla, who joined Chaz at the flower show. But, by jove, did Zephyr scare the bejeezus out of them.

He nearly took their 'eads clean off!
He nearly took their 'eads clean off!

The couple were checking the bird out (not like that, you pervert) when all of a sudden he decided to show off his mighty wingspan to the royals. Well, you would, wouldn’t you? It’s not every day you meet the posh folk like that.

Unfortunately for Chaz and Camilla – but fortunately for us – there was a snapper there ready to take photos of them looking utterly terrified. Let’s just take a closer look at those scaredy cat faces, shall we?

And we didn't wanna leave Zephyr out...

Meanwhile, in Australia...
