This is Princess Charlotte. Despite being just two months old, she’s so cute that she’s been put fourth in line of the throne, even though she’s a BABY. We think that’s how the monarchy works, anyway.
Yesterday, Sunday 5 July, was her christening, and her whole family – mum Kate Middleton, dad Prince William, great-grandma Queen Elizabeth and her grandparents Prince Charles and Camilla – were out in full force to celebrate.
But Charlotte wasn’t the only royal cutie being papped by the awaiting photographers. Nope, her older brother Prince George seemed delighted to be nicking the spotlight off her.
Dressed in an identical outfit as his dad back in 1984, George ran along the road to St Mary Magdalene Church at Sandringham while the Duchess of Cambridge pushed Charlotte in an old-fashioned pram.
When they stopped outside the church, George looked back at the waving crowds and promptly tried wheeling his sister away, before nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo stopped him. He then threw a small tantrum which his dad had to calm him down from, then went up to the Queen to gaze at her big pink hat.
What a day. Bet there were a few tears before bedtime (and a couple of large wines downed by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge).
