It looks like Prince Harry may have found himself a pop princess in the form of Ellie Goulding - the pair are reportedly dating.
The singer and the royal were recently spotted getting to know each other at the Audi Polo Challenge and an onlooker claims they appeared to share a kiss under a blanket, according to The Sun.
And they have been exchanging flirty texts since their day out at the sporting event.
A source close to Harry said: “He has told friends how much he likes Ellie and she is clearly taken by him.”
This is not the first time the famous pair have met - Harry and Ellie have been friends ever since she performed at his brother Prince William’s wedding to Kate Middleton.
She was also at the closing ceremony for Harry’s Invictus Games in 2014 and they were allegedly later seen “all over each other” at the polo in Coworth Park.
“Harry got Ellie’s number a while ago and got in touch,” the insider added.
“They’d always got on very well through their various meetings after she was the wedding singer at Kate and William’s wedding reception.
“But things stepped up a gear and they had been in touch in recent weeks and their first really public meeting since was at the polo.
“It turned into a real party late into the night and there was a complete ban on taking pictures so Harry and other celebrities there could feel comfortable.”
Harry is said to have made the most of the more private time as a result of the camera ban and, despite being there with a group of friends, the royal and Ellie allegedly took themselves away from their pals and sat together under blankets.
The source added: “They were seen having a kiss before Harry had to go because he was playing polo the next day. Ellie left about five minutes later.”
While Harry was apparently overheard telling his mates how much he liked her, it’s already been called into question whether his family would allow him to date someone with a celebrity background like Ellie’s.
