Prince Harry: “I’m no Bridget Jones!”

Prince Harry is not happy he's been dubbed a singleton

Prince Harry:

A lot of the tabloids have been dubbing Prince Harry "Bridget Jones" recently - mainly because he's single, 30, and said in an intervew he wanted to sette down and start a family like his big brother Will.

But it turns out he's NOT a fan of the literary comparison, and DOESN'T see himself as a royal singleton - or want to become a "smug married" just yet.

"Bridget Jones? That's sad," he said when asked about the names the media were calling him.

"No, for me it's good, I'm very happy not having a girlfriend...It’s not a case of anything ... I'm not, sort of, looking. It's cool."

Harry, who is wrapping up his tour of New Zealand, was last dating Cressida Bonas - and they only split a year ago - so it's not like he's been single for THAT long.

He also credited his military career for keeping him out of trouble - and would recommend Prince George and Charlotte do the same.

"Without a doubt, [the military] does keep you out of trouble," he said. "You can make bad choices in life, but it's how you recover from those and which path you end up taking."

"I would definitely encourage George, and Charlotte if she wants, to have some sort of involvement in the Armed Forces, guaranteed...It's done me no harm, just good and it's the same for William."
