Kensington Palace have taken to Twitter to confirm some very happy news ahead of the Royal Wedding on 19th May.

It's been revealed that Prince Harry has officially asked his older brother, The Duke of Cambridge, to be his best man.

"Prince Harry has asked his brother The Duke of Cambridge to be his Best Man at his wedding to Ms. Meghan Markle," the Kensington Palace account tweeted this morning, along with a selection images of the two brothers looking like best pals.

This was then followed up with another tweet, explaining how Harry had served as Prince William's best man at his wedding to Kate Middleton in 2011.

"Prince Harry served as best man to The Duke of Cambridge at his wedding to Miss Catherine Middleton in 2011."

The palace then shared an adorable image of the two princes as children dressed up as policemen.

"The Duke of Cambridge is honoured to have been asked, and is very much looking forward to supporting his brother at St George's Chapel, Windsor on May 19th."

This comes as the world (im)patiently waits for Wills and Kate to confirm their new son's name.
