Absolute playa.

We bet pPrince William struggled to get to sleep last night. Not just because of his baby daughter Charlotte doing what babies do best – making sure you get zero hours sleep. But because Wills was starting his brand new job today. How nerve-wracking!

Prince William started working as a fully-trained air ambulance pilot today after completing his year-long training.

(Do you reckon Kate Middleton made him a packed lunch to take with him?)

The Duke of Cambridge was photographed this morning as he began his first shift for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

The Prince is based at Cambridge International Airport and will be co-piloting a helicopter; flying patients to hospital in emergencies in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire.

This job is now the Duke's primary occupation, but his roster will also take into account the duties and responsibilities he will continue to undertake on behalf of the Queen.

Prince William started his training for his Air Transport Pilot's Licence last September, which culminated in 14 exams and a flight test.

Nice one, Wills!
