Last week we saw possibly the CUTEST photos known to man of baby Princess Charlotte looking all blue-eyed and rosy-cheeked, and it really does look as though she is growing up SO fast!

But... next week it will be her first EVER Christmas day, and a Christmas fit for a Princess can only mean one thing... a real-life fairytale!

And apparently, Prince William and Kate having pulled out all the stops to give her and big bro Prince George just that. The royal family have a new home in the countryside, Anmer Hall in Norfolk, and the family are said to have been prepping for Christmas festivities there for weeks already - from baking practice for the day to decorating the place with Chrimbo decorations!

A source revealed to E! News that "William and kate will not attend Christmas Day lunch at Sandringham with the Queen and the rest of the royal family. Instead, the plan at the moment is to host the day's festivities in their own home" (Sandringham is usually where the royal family traditionally stay with the queen over the Christmas period).

Prince William told The Big Issue magazine "I think George will be extremely bouncy this year because he's suddenly worked out what Christmas is all about... If I get any sleep on Christmas Eve it'll be good!". Kate's family are said to be joining the royals for Christmas day, too.

Kate's mum also had some words of wisdom for her in time for Charlotte's first Christmas - she recently wrote in her Baby London magazine column "Relax and enjoy baby's first Christmas - they won't remember it, but you'll have fond memories".

SO. SWEET.

We hope Princess Charlotte has the BEST first Christmas ever!
