We can’t wait to see how Princess Charlotte is growing up – she’ll have got bigger already, and we want to see her little chubby chops post haste.

Luckily, her christening date has been revealed – Kensington Palace announced today that it’s going to be July 5.

Sticking with tradition, the royal family have picked a venue that’s close to their hearts. Royal baby will get her head dunked in the water at St Mary Magdalene Church at the Queen's Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

This is the same venue where the late Princess Diana was christened.

The Archbishop of Cambridge, Justin Welby, will do the honour. Don’t be nervous Charlotte, it’s no biggie, honestly…

The service will be attended by close family and friends. We can’t wait to see the photos.

It’s thought that little Charlotte will wear the same christening gown that Prince George wore. We hope he didn’t vom on it at the time.

So, now to guessing game over who the godparents will be. It’s likely to be Pippa Middleton and Prince Harry, but you never know with those royals (we jest. You usually know down to a tee what they’re doing. Those traditions, eh?).
