Despite being taken down with a case of food poisoning, Professor Green still took to the stage last night at Camp Bestival.
The show must go on, as they say!
The 31-year-old rapper – real name Stephen Manderson – posted on Instagram a pic from the view of his car on Friday, captioned:
We genuinely feel sorry for you Pro Green. Food poisoning + long car journey is not the one, and would leave us feeling pretty green, too.
He followed up with a snap of an anti-sickness IV drip in his arm, saying: “Really having to dig deep for this one camp bestival,” and a selfie captioned "The face says it all really," proving to his fans that he was dedicated to working through his sickness as not to miss the gig.
And although he did cancel his DJ spot that was scheduled earlier in the day, the rapper made it to the main stage on Friday and didn’t let his fans down. Now that’s hardcore! It seems it was all worthwhile, as he later tweeted his joy at having made it despite the circumstances:
“Apart from awkwardly discussing my tummy troubles on stage @CampBestival was NUTTY!!! such a sick festival!”
You go Pro Green! Get well soon.
