Professor Green has revealed that he wouldn’t have dated Millie Mackintosh if she were a fan of his, breaking the hearts of tens of fans across the country.

Speaking to Loose Women today — because apparently we have slipped into either another dimension or a hyperreal coma where this is a thing — Pro admitted he wouldn’t have taken Millie out on their first date if he’d have known how much of a fan of his she was.

It turns out Millie and Pro — who are married after their love story started, in time-honoured fashion, when Professor Green asked the editor of* FHM* to slip him her number — almost didn’t happen… because she was listening to his song, Just Be Good To Green, at the exact moment he first called her.

“I didn’t find this out straight away,” he rapped, while Nadia Sawalha beatboxed. “I found this out later on. She was frantically trying to pause YouTube… that would have been quite funny if she’d answered the phone and my song was playing in the background. We may not have got together if that had happened.”

When Nadia dropped the beat and asked him why not, Green said: “It might have been a bit weird if she was a huge fan of my music.”

And Coleen Nolan grabbed the mic for a minute to spit: “Oh yes, if you phoned someone up and they were blasting out your music, it would have been a bit, ‘Ohh’!”
