Rapper Nelly arrested on drug charges

Rapper Nelly has been arrested after Tennessee police stopped his tour bus and found illegal drugs on board.

According to Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, the rapper's coach was stopped on Saturday morning, after the vehicle was not displaying the legally-required stickers, reports TMZ.

Once police searched the tour bus, they found methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They also found guns - a .50 caliber pistol, a .45 caliber pistol, and a .500 magnum Smith and Wesson.

Nelly was charged for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, and another passenger was charged for possesion of a handgun.

This isn't the first time Nelly's tour bus has been stopped by police - in 2012 authorities discovered drugs on board - and a member of the singer's entourage took responsibility for the items,
