Rapper Xzibit got put in prison on his wedding day

Pimp My Ride host Xbibit isn’t going to be in his new wife’s best books. No-oooooooh he isn’t.

After getting married to Krista Joiner at a lavish ceremony in Laguna beach, (complete with matching his ‘n’ hers Rolex watches, obvs), Xzibit had a great time knocking back the drinks at his reception (we presume he danced to his own songs).

But things took a turn for the worst when the rapper was pulled over in his Range Rover for drink driving in the early hours of the morning.

Captain Jason Kravetz said: “The officer contacted the driver and smelled alcohol. This started a driving under the influence investigation which ended with the arrest of [Xzibit].”

He was released when he’d sobered up in the morning.

Xibby doesn’t seem too fussed, however, posting loads of lovey-dovey messages on Instagram.

“Yesterday was our wedding day. It was nothing short of amazing. We were surrounded by friends and family and had an outstanding ceremony. It was not tainted by negative energy and I made sure it stayed that way,” he gushed, and no, we’d never imagined him gushing until this moment either. T

hough we imagine he’s probably having to do a bit of damage limitation right now. We’d be well miffed if we were his new lady.
