Fifth Harmony have been getting A LOT of attention over the last couple of weeks.
Last week, bandmate Lauren Jauregui was reportedly arrested for drug possession and was consequently not able to perform at the band’s gig in Brazil.
And then out of nowhere, Camila Cabello decided to throw the towel in and quit the band.
Could it be because no one EVER high-fived her? No, literally. It’s so awkward.
Well, according to the latest reports the real reason has been revealed.
(Although it could still totally be because of the high-five thing.)
As if there wasn’t enough dramz going on between the five of them, a source has told Billboard magazine that the reason Camila left was because the other girls were jealous of her.
Talking to the mag, the source said: "This all [stems from] the girls' jealousy. You've read this story a million times."
Apparently they had an issue ever since their US X Factor mentor, Demi Lovato, outed Camila as the only one that ‘shined’ in one of their performances.
What the shit?
It all started on Sunday when Fifth Harmony announced the split in the most 2016 way possible – via their official Twitter account.
"After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her well."
Ouchie.
They then UNFOLLOWED Camila on Twitter and chaos ensued, as the band claimed that they had no idea she was leaving.
Then Cam hit back saying they were telling porkies because they knew exactly what was going on.
YIKES.
Come on ladies. In the words of Crying Girl in Mean Girls, can’t we all just bake a cake made out of rainbows and smiles and all eat it and be happy?
