Is this the REAL reason Justin Bieber’s been acting a bit odd recently?‏

In years to come, we're going to look back on 2015/16 as the year Justin Bieber reinvented himself. He came back from a showbiz career death – a bit like Jesus.

It was the year he got his act together, made an album packed full of good tunes, grew up, won awards, said sorry for his past mistakes, re-connected with his fans and was just an all-round good egg.

It was all good in Bieber hood.

Well, it was, until he set off on his Purpose world tour and things started to get a little bit much for the Biebs.

First, he cancelled his meet and greets with fans, leaving them distraught and THOUSANDS of $$$ out of pocket. He got dreadlocks and a lot of people called him out for cultural appropriation; he got a tattoo on his face, shaved his head and stated he was DONE with taking selfies with his beloved fans in a pretty emotional Instagram post.

And even more recently, he's been spotted out and about barefoot in parks on his own. Just chilling. All alone.

But it turns out Bieber is not actually going insane, he's just trying to shake off his 'party boy' persona.

According to TMZ, Justin has spent the last two weeks going through an "epiphany " and is all about "centering himself with religion and nature."

Sources have also added:

"Justin's Purpose tour has taken its toll on him, and feels he's lost his centre. He believes nature and religion - not concert venues and nightclubs - should become his life priorities."

So next time you see Justin out and about, dress up as a squirrel and he may just connect with you.
