Khloe Kardashian’s journey into motherhood hasn’t exactly been the easiest. Just days before she was due to give birth, it was revealed that her boyfriend and baby daddy Tristan Thompson had cheated on her and videos of him kissing a brunette woman were leaked.
She later sparked some cruel (but kind of funny, sorry) Twitter reactions and a whole bunch of memes after Khloe announced she and Tristan had named their daughter True, despite the whole cheating debacle.
But now Khloe’s opened up about her decision to name her daughter True, and the reason is actually very sweet.
Taking to her website and App, Khloe discussed the thought process behind the name with her fans.
“Picking a name for your child is really so tough!” she explained.
“I knew I wanted my baby to have a ‘T’ initial, so one night while we were all at dinner, thinking of some names, my grandma MJ suggested True.”
Khloe then continued: "She told me it was my great-grandfather's first name and my grandfather's middle name.
"It stuck with me for my entire pregnancy and was the only one I couldn't get out of my head."

Khloe’s mum Kris Jenner previously hinted at the origins of True’s name when she took to Instagram to congratulate Khloe after giving birth.
“FUN FACT... my Grandfather's name on my Dad's side was True Otis Houghton....my real Dad's name was Robert True Houghton...so i am so excited Khloe named her daughter True!!!!” she wrote.
Khloe recently treated her fans to a first proper look at adorable baby True.
She shared a video on Instagram to mark her one month birthday.
And we cannot deal with the cuteness.
In the background Khloe can be heard saying, "Happy one month old, mama," and she captioned the video: "Happy One Month True."
