After receiving tons of praise for their Matrix-themed routine last week, NOBODY anticipated the sheer DRAMA that was about to unfold when Seann Walsh and his Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones were spotted kissing in the street.
Despite apologising publicly on Twitter, Seann's girlfriend Rebecca Humphries DUMPED him in a furious statement, before Strictly bosses confirmed the pair would remain on the show and dance a Charleston this weekend.
THEN, Seann and Katya gave their first live TV interview since the photos emerged, when they appeared on Strictly: It Takes Two last night (Wednesday 10th October).
Seann, who was with Rebecca for five years before she dumped him, said, "Obviously I'm sorry for the hurt that I've caused, we were getting on well, we were having fun, we had a couple of drinks and I regret it deeply."

After failing to physically mention her name AGAIN, Rebecca was clearly left furious and reacted to the interview on Twitter. Despite not tweeting anything herself, the actress liked a number of tweets from the public.
One read, 'Still no apology to @Beckshumps Hope they get sent home on Saturday, the pair of snakes', with another adding, 'Neither @seannwalsh or @Mrs_katjones apologised directly to @Beckshumps for their behaviour. They just sat there talking about themselves. How unsurprising. Not ok'. [sic]
Earlier in the week, Rebecca publicly dumped the comedian in a statement released on Twitter. She wrote, 'Those pictures were taken on October 3rd. It was my birthday. I was alone at home when Sean texted at 10pm saying the two of them were going for one innocent drink.'
Meanwhile, it seems Katya and her husband, Strictly Come Dancing choreographer Neil Jones, are still strong despite her moment of lust with Seann. Speaking on It Takes Two, the Russian dancer said, "Obviously I apologise and I can't apologise enough to everyone it hurt and was involved, but the main thing for me is me and Neil are absolutely fine and that's what matters to me the most right now. And focusing on my job and doing it as professionally as I can."
After this week's spectacle, Seann and Katya are now favourites to be axed from Strictly, with one more couple expected to be dumped on Sunday night's results show.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday and Sunday.
