The X Factor runners-up Reggie ‘N’ Bollie have spoken of their sadness after a fan died at their concert.
The boys were performing at a gig in Nigeria in 2007 and a person was left injured after an incident and later passed away.
A fight broke out at the show and the reveller got caught up in the violence.
Bollie told The Sun: “I don’t know the guy who died but I mourned his death for a week.”
He added: “I felt very bad.”
The duo were beaten in The X Factor on Sunday night by fellow contestant Louisa Johnson who won this year’s series.
However, they are widely tipped to get a record contract after winning over the public with their infectious personalities and entertaining performances.
Simon Cowell even hinted he may sign the pair as well as winner Louisa, tweeting: “Congrats to Reggie and Bollie. The nicest people. They will sell records next year.”
A source told the Daily Mirror: “There is a lot of interest in both Louisa and the boys – they will both work with labels within the Sony family.”
