The first thing we thought when we heard that The Crystal Maze is returning as a live, interactive experience WE HAVE TO BE THERE.
The second was, is Richard O’Brien going to be there? Because he was the part we liked best (after the Aztec Zone, obviously).
Richard, and all his different leopard print jackets!
Our prayers have now been answered because YES HE IS.
The Crystal Maze’s website announced:
“We are delighted to be announcing the return of none other than the legendary Maze Master himself, Richard O'Brien.
“Richard won't be running around the maze himself, but he will be welcoming guests in time-honoured fashion... to find out how, you'll just have to come along and see!”
Hmmm, now something tells us that Rich might be a hologram version of himself – but who knows, eh?
And lets hope that Mumsy the fortune teller will return, too.
The new Crystal Maze is currently being crowd funded by ticket sales and has so far raised £250,000 of its £500,000 target.
Go on Rich – you have to be there. For us. PLEASE? you’re so much more to us than just a hologram.
