Rihanna surprises fans by premiering new song on Tidal!

The Baijan beauty premiered her new song American Oxygen on music streaming site Tidal yesterday.

She debuted her latest material with a music video fusing together footage of historical events in American history.

The video included footage of the Ferguson riots, 9/11, Martin Luther King Jr.'s coffin, and the Ku Klux Klan.

There are also plenty of shots of Ri displaying a luscious red lippy, teamed with a white t-shirt and leather jacket. Looking pretty lush herself.

The Pour It Up singer can be heard saying: “I say, you see, this is the American Dream / Young girl, hustlin' / On the other side of the ocean / She can be anything at all.

“Every breath I breathe / Chasin' this American Dream / We sweat for a nickel and a dime / Turn it into an empire.

“This is the new America / We are the new America.”

The eight-time Grammy Award winner told TMZ what she liked the most about her recent visit to the White House was that her ‘President was black’.

American Oxygen was directed by The Uprising Creative trio Jonathan Craven, Jeff Nicholas, and Darren Craig, who also helmed Rihanna's What Now video in 2013.
