Ever since Beyoncé released that surprise album Lemonade with the even more surprising revelation that “Becky with the good hair” had got it on with Jay Z, people have been reeeeally keen to find out who she is.

It’s a ruddy good bit of gossip.

Rita Ora The X Factor

Unfortunately for poor old Rita Ora, she became the prime suspect. Some busybody Beyonce fans did some digging and found pics where her boobs were covered with lemons and where she had a necklace with a “J” on it.

They got MAD.

It was all a bit silly, really.

But Rita then posed with Beyonce at the Met Gala, so it looked like it prob wasn’t her after all.

She also wore a “not Becky” name badge at the Met Ball after party, which pretty much clears it up, we say.

Rita has now hit back at these claims, and slammed those who accuse her of it.

She said: "First and foremost, Jay Z is my inspiration and one of my idols - lyrically, musically, business-wise."

"I still look up to him and his wife every day. Beyoncé was one of my biggest idols growing up,” she told Vanity Fair magazine.

"That (pin) was a present from Katy Perry. Maybe I was the only one seen wearing it, but there were others. As for the rest of it, I'm oblivious, I'm just not the gossip queen.

"I find it incredibly rude and disrespectful to women in general (when) we get accused of something that's basically against the important part - the music."

So maybe it’s time to leave her alone, eh?

It was recently (possibly) spilled that Rita Ora could have been FIRED from last year’s X Factor along with Nick Grimshaw.

While hosting the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show this morning, he joked that it was Rita's weird comments to acts that resulted in them being axed from the show.

He was on the phone to a listener playing a game centred around quotes said by Kanye West (which sounds rilly fun!), and one of them used was actually from Rita: "Your voice is really well baked, like a really good cooked ham."

He then told the caller: "Oh, that was one of Rita Ora's great quotes on last year's X Factor. It’s nonsense quotes like that that goes us all fired, Rita!"

GOSSIP.

We’re NGL, we’re enjoying The X Factor way more this year. Soz, guys.
