A whole host of Hollywood types got together for the Critics’ Choice awards last night, including the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Amy Schumer and Rachel McAdams. But who cares about them, right?

There’s only one award winner that we want to talk about, and that’s nine-year-old Jacob Tremblay.

Jacob won the Best Young Actor gong for his role in the film, Room.

After climbing onto a box so he could reach the microphone (with a little help from Bradley James, who presented him with the award), Jacob praised his fellow nominees and revealed he was going to put his new award in pride of place in his bedroom: right next to his treasured Millennium Falcon.

“This is super cool,” Jacob said. “It's the best day of my life.

“I first want to say thank you to all the critics who voted for me. It must be a super hard vote because of all of the other great actors in this category.”

He also thanked the cast and crew, noting: “I think that us working together made this movie come true and this award doesn't just go to me for that, it goes to all of you guys as well.”

He concluded by saying: “I just want to thank my parents. I love them very much.”

Too. Much Cuteness.
