From Meghan Markle walking herself part-way down the aisle, to the ADORBS hand-holding and the epic choice of first dance song, we’ve relived and dissected every tiny detail of the royal wedding, we feel as if we were there (ideally sat somewhere between Idris Elba and David Beckham). Alas, we weren’t.
However, some members of the public were lucky enough to be invited within the walls of Windsor Castle to watch the wedding take place. And each of these lucky 2,640 guests (not the elite 600 who bagged a seat in St George’s Chapel), including school children, staff from the royal households and charity members walked away with a special goodie bag.
The gift bag, monogrammed with Prince Harry and Meghan’s initials, included an order of service booklet, shortbread, a commemorative fridge magnet, a giant chocolate coin, a 20% off voucher for the Windsor Castle gift shop and a bottle of water. Pretty ideal, right?
However, some guests have seemingly been flogging their goodie bags online – and some bids have reached over £1000.
At the time of writing there are currently nine auctions for the gift bags on eBay, with listings reading things such as: “Don't miss out on this limited once in a life time opportunity to have a piece of royal history,” and “a piece of history and memorabilia to celebrate a momentous special day for Britain and the royal family.”

A number of the listings have said the money made from the gift bag will go to various charities, including one which has currently reached a bid of £1020.
