Polar opposite ends of the human hair scale Russell Brand and Donald Trump are exchanging Twitter blows after Donald called Russell a “dummy”. Weak, weak Twitter beef game, Donald Trump.

Trump – who let’s not forget, wants to turn the whole of Scotland into a luxury golf course – took to Twitter last night to whale on Russell, saying he’d watched the comedian on Jimmy Fallon’s show and didn’t know what other people see in him.

“A major loser!” he added, in between tweets about Obama’s incompetence and Ebola.

Failing to receive any attention, Trump then turned to Russell’s ex-wife Katy Perry.

“.@katyperry must have been drunk when she married Russell Brand @rustyrockets – but he did send me a really nice letter of apology!” he wrote.

Awkwardly, Katy also refused to take any notice of the billionaire troll… so he just kept tweeting her.

“.@katyperry Katy, what the hell were you thinking when you married loser Russell Brand. There is a guy who has got nothing going, a waste,” he said.

“.@katyperry I watched Russell Brand and I think his mind is fried - he looks really bad. Russell is a total joke, a dummy who is lost!”

Presumably, at that point one of Trump’s monkey butlers stepped in to advise him to stop tweeting one of the most famous singers in the world because she wasn’t interested. Fortunately for Donald, Russell FINALLY noticed his desperate bid for attention.

“.@realDonaldTrump I don't think your daddy left you any witty ripostes, and everything you have you inherited,” Russell added, before linking to a couple of articles about Trump’s dubious business background.

Donald has since gone quiet, preferring to retweet his supporters’ messages about him standing for President in 2016 to getting drawn into an argument with actual Russell Brand.

Mate. Donald. Mate. You’re going to need to up your game if you’re going to be standing opposite Hilary Clinton. She is going to slay.
