Brace yourselves for the worst news possible: Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have got married, and that means we have no legit reason to believe he'll ever be ours.

According to Us Weekly, Ryan and Eva tied the knot in a secret ceremony earlier this year, inviting just a select few friends and family members to witness their heat is overcome by a large speck of dust in its eyes and just lies on its desk sobbing.

Seriously? SERIOUSLY, RYAN? Even after that dream we had where you were stroking our face and biting your lip a bit? YOU PROMISED WE'D BE TOGETHER FOREVER.

The pair, who have two daughters together – Esmeralda, two, and four-month-old Amada – first met on the set of 2012 film The Place Beyond The Pines, and have been together ever since.

"Eva and Ryan have always felt like a married couple," a source told the magazine.

"They are infatuated with each other."
