Wasn't Sabrina the Teenage Witch just the best TV program about a teenage witch in the history of TV programs about a teenage witch? We actually spent an embarrassing amount of time pointing at inanimate objects in the hope that one day, sparks would fly out of our index finger and we'd discover we too had powers, and there was a portal to the 'other realm' in our laundry cupboard.

Actual tears may have been shed when we woke up on our 16th birthday and were still very much mortal.

Anyway, even as Sabrina mega fans we kind of forgot that ACTUAL Ryan Reynolds was actually in the 1996 TV movie – the prequel to the epic TV series.

YUP.

And it turns out, Ryan and Sabrina aka Melissa Joan Hart were almost a thing.

Speaking to Studio 10, Melissa recently opened up about working with Ryan. She said: "He wasn't the Ryan Reynolds everyone knows these day.

"I mean you can see in the clip... the crazy hair....

"He was sweet, he was really sweet."

She then continued: "I had a boyfriend at the time but we were smitten and cute. And he was adorable. He was really nice guy.

"He probably would have made a great boyfriend and I didn't end up with the other guy... So maybe I should have taken a chance."

Yeah, just maybe, Mel. IMAGINE WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN?

TBH, Ryan is one half of the most perfect couple in the world (the other half is of course Blake Lively) and so we're finding it really hard to imagine him with anyone else in the world RN.

Ryan recently revealed something weirdly sweet about Blake regarding sex scenes with other men…read all about that here.
