Former Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas has taken to his Instagram page to reveal the tragic death of his friend Charlie Everton, after he lost his battle with Cancer.
Ryan, who recently announced his fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh is expecting the couple's first child, posted a heartbreaking message to his socials, revealing Charlie was like a 'brother' to him.
Sharing a photo of himself kissing Charlie on the cheek, Ryan wrote, 'You always were that guy Charlie loved by everyone made everyone feel like they were the most important person in the room & not forgetting that Johnny Depp look you pulled off so well, I’d catch myself looking thinking he’s one cool f_**_r and in some ways too good for this world.'
'You did it your way mate!!! lived the best life you possibly could & left some great memories behind that we will cherish forever.
'My love to all Charlie’s family you raised a good one you should be very proud 🙏🏼💙 Until next Charlie I love you brother. #rip' [sic]
Friends, family and fans were quick to send their condolences to Ryan, former TOWIE star Lydia Bright wrote, '💙💙💙', with his brother Scott Thomas adding, 'A true gent ❤️🙏'. [sic]
A fan then wrote, 'I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m praying for your peace,' with another writing, 'Aw I'm so sorry to hear this Ryan my love goes to you'. [sic]
The devastating news comes just weeks after Ryan and his fiancée Lucy announced they are expecting their first child together. Posting the news on social media, Lucy wrote, 'Best birthday present I’ve ever had 👶🤰 love you @ryanthomas84 ❤️'. [sic]
