Roxanne Pallett has recently described herself as 'the most hated girl in Britain' and she's been SLAMMED by over 20 of her Emmerdale co-stars following her 'punching' scandal in the Celebrity Big Brother house with Ryan Thomas.
And whilst Ryan's girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh and his two brothers Adam and Scott have slammed her further, Ryan's mum Gail broke her silence on the drama on today's episode of This Morning.
Appearing on the show with hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, Gail revealed she can't watch her son break-down on the show, admitting she doesn't think she will ever be able to forgive Roxanne for her damaging accusation.
She said, "I don’t think I’ll ever forgive her."
Despite Roxanne apologising for her actions on both Jeremy Vine's show and during her interview with Emma Willis, Gail said, “At the end of the day, she needs to apologise to Ryan personally. He needs to get his warning taken off him. I feel like she’s getting a lot of airtime.
“She’s almost the only one who’s speaking out and I would like Ryan to be able to use his voice."
Gail also went on to reveal, "I can’t watch him cry and be distressed. It makes me very distressed, it hurts. He’s my baby, whatever age he is. I just want to reach out and give him a hug.”
Meanwhile, after quitting the house on Friday night, Roxanne chose to stay silent on the matter until she broke her silence in two separate interviews yesterday (Monday 3rd September).
Speaking to show host Emma Willis in a pre-recorded interview, the former Emmerdale actress said, "I needed to come and tell everyone that I got it wrong, I'm human, I made a massive, massive, horrible mistake," reiterating what she'd said on Jeremy Vine's show by saying, "Watching the clip feels like a completely different scenario to how it felt at the time.
"How it felt when he did it - it hurt. I can't prove a feeling, it became heightened and I convinced myself that he meant it. It DID hurt."
Meanwhile, now that Roxanne is out of the house, Ryan is a firm favourite to win the final series of the show which comes to an end next week. But don't panic! The civilian version of the popular show will begin on Friday 14th September.
