Move over Phil Mitchell, Rylan Clark’s set to become the new resident bad guy on Albert Square. Okay, not really – but he wants to be.
Switching the CBB house for, well, the Queen Vic, the 26-year-old TV presenter has revealed he wants to ditch his camp image to bag a role on EastEnders.
Talking to the Daily Star on Sunday, the Big Brother's Bit on the Side host said: “I’d love to get into acting. I just love EastEnders.
“People think I was born in Essex but I was born in Stepney in East London. I think I could do it. It would be great to play a proper hardman.”
Decisive as ever, Rylan added: “I could join the Carters or be a long-lost Slater. Or I could be a Mitchell. Actually, I love Kathy Beale so much. She’s my idol. So I’d want to be her long-lost son. I could do a South African accent.
“It could start as a cameo then I’d want to go back properly.”
We can imagine it now… “GET OUTAAA MY PUB!"
