If you watched Sam Faiers' one-off ITVBe show The Baby Diaries on Sunday night – and if you didn't, you should really see it on catch-up – you might have noticed her boyfriend, Paul Knightley, was a little… off.
Twitter reacted to that scene of him and his mum having an intimate kiss on the lips, among other stuff – including Paul getting a heavily pregnant Sam to cook all his meals and falling asleep during her labour.
And now it turns out the 27-year-old estate agent tried to stop the programme from airing, according to a Mirror source.
"Paul tried to block ITV bringing the show out first. He was very unhappy with the edit when they saw a preview," the unnamed insider told the newspaper.
"He thought he didn't come across very well, especially with Sam. But a contract is a contract. But not even Paul predicted the reaction to that kiss with his mum. He is secretly fuming."
Sam has since defended her partner of 15 months by posting a snap of herself kissing baby Paul and captioning it: "I will kiss my baby boy on the lips forever."
She also told her followers: : "Wow Paul really is getting some stick. I wish people wouldn't look into it so much. It's just a TV show edited & made for good viewing."
She added: "Yes he fell asleep reading baby books, didn't attend yoga & no he doesn't cook but he is the most caring loving man I know & the best daddy to baby Paul."
