Sam Faiers shares first picture of baby Paul Tony

Sam Faiers has shared the first proper picture of her newborn baby son Paul Tony, just a day after announcing his name online.

The TOWIE star, who gave birth on 30 December to her first child with property developer Paul Knightley, posted the snap of baby Paul from the same day she became a mum.

“Just a few hours old, our beautiful baby...” she posted next to the picture of Paul being held up by his dad.

“Look at those lips. We can’t help but just kiss him all the time.”

But Sam, 25, has been slightly put out by the comments generated by her son’s name, with many pointing out that it’s a bit… old fashioned for a baby.

She screengrabbed a supportive message from one of her followers, writing next to it: “Couldn’t have put this in better words myself. Thank you x.”

Baby Paul is named after both his dad and his Uncle Tony, as is family tradition with the Knightleys.

However, the rest of motherhood so far seems to be going swimmingly for Sam, as she keeps tweeting about how blissful she’s finding it.

She’ll also be documenting the aftermath of Paul’s birth in a brand new one-off ITVBe show airing in February, called Sam Faiers: The Baby Diaries.
