So The Sun have published extracts of Sam Faiers' autobiography, Secrets and Lies - and she doesn't hold back on her ex Joey Essex.

The on-again, off-again couple were together for two years before splitting in 2013 - and Sam claims Joey was an "angry and frustrated" person to date behind the scenes - a far cry from the "little boy lost" image he had in the media.

"I had to break up, for the sake of my sanity", she wrote. "I hoped it would end in marriage and children but in the end I didn't know who he was any more".

Joey is yet to speak out on the claims - which include Sam saying how Joey only told her he was appearing on I'm A Celeb two days before he went into the jungle - at a time when she said he promised they'd get back together.

She then spoke out about how hard she found the on-screen chemistry between Joey and model Amy Willerton.

"I had to watch on national TV as Amy Willerton found any excuse to touch him, do trials with him and run suntan cream into his back".

She added that she began obsessing over exercise to deal with the pain:

"I was at breaking point and my family were desperately worried for me. I feel into an exhausting obsession and ritual".

Sam added these further words on their relationship:

"It was only once I knew the relationship was over I could see it for what it had really been...made up of some good bits, but by and large fairly toxic".

Blimey. She really doesn't hold back.
