There’s a lot less Sam Smith to go around right now. A stone less to be precise – and that’s because he’s been on a massive health kick that’s CLEARLY working.

Sam’s been busy Instagramming photos from the gym – and he’s also credited a healthy eating book called Eat. Nourish. Glow. that’s “transformed” his attitude towards food.

“Three weeks ago I met a woman who has completely changed my life. Amelia Freer has helped me lose over a stone in 2 weeks and has completely transformed my relationship with food,” Sam wrote on Instagram.

“Everyone go check out her incredible book, and start to live healthy. It's not even about weight loss it's about feeling happy in yourself.

“Love you Amelia & thank you for making me feel so happy inside and out @ameliafreer #eatnourishglow.”

Sam seems to quite like this book

If that’s not a glowing review then we don’t know what is. Geddit? Glowing? Sorry, we’ll stop.

Eat. Nourish. Glow. is currently the number one bestselling book on Amazon, and we’re betting Sam’s weight loss will have something to do with that.

Sam’s admitted battling his weight in the past, telling Rolling Stone:

"I'm just very body-conscious. Sometimes I'm really proud that I don't look like other pop stars. But there's also moments where I'm like, 'Ugh, I wish I had abs like Bieber.'"

Well, really well done, Mr Smith – you look amazing. And, P.S, you DEFINITELY DON’T need abs like Bieber to impress us.
