The oh-so talented and completely mesmerising Sam Smith is back after a two year break from showbizzniss.

Which is a bloody lifeline tbh. We desperately needed a new song to sob silently to, whilst on the bus home after another terrible date.

Sam has just released the song 'Too Good At Goodbyes' which is so heart-wrenchingly beautiful, it's making us miss our ex from when we were 14.

The Bond theme-tune warbler caught up with Jo Parkerson to discuss his new song and exactly WHY he took a break from music.

'When I released Latch to the Oscars, it was such a massive change in my life. I needed to get to know my friends and family again.'

Sam also revealed the meaning behind his new song, 'Too Good at Goodbyes'.

'I wanted to come back with a song that showed off my voice and gave me a chance to belt something.

'This album nods to The Lonely Hour'

Sam also reveals how the song is about him turning off his emotions at that particular stage of his life.

'There was a moment where my heart did get a little bit hard, but it needed to. It was a coping mechanism.'

Sam also revealed who he thinks should sing the next Bond tune...
