When most pop stars retire from music they hide away in their sprawling mansions swimming in their pool filled with money rather than water.
But Sam Smith is planning a more modest retirement and can’t wait to settle down with a husband and children.
He told Teen Vogue: “The idea of having a house, a kid, a husband, and a dog... I love that.
“I also really want to open a coffee and flower shop one day, probably in Italy.”
Well, isn’t that delightful? But Sam, who won four MOBO Awards last week, is yet to find his husband-to-be after suffering heartache last year.
He said: “I fell in love with someone last year, and he didn’t love me back. I deleted him off of WhatsApp, and it felt like I’d just broken up with him.”
