So apparently Samuel L Jackson has big plans for this year’s Christmas Number 1, and Simon Cowell ain’t going to be happy about it.

The Avengers star is currently working on a charity single, which will feature a bunch of his A-list Hollywood pals. Think Band Aid, but with way less Bananarama… hopefully.

SLJ is planning to release the soon-to-be recorded track in the run-up to 25 December, which will seriously foil Simon’s plans for an* X Factor* Christmas Number 1.

Soz big guy…

Samuel told The Sun: “I have been in Simon Cowell’s presence and he can find talented people.

“He has had Christmas Number 1s with X Factor acts but there were a couple of times the show was beaten.”

But before you get all riled up at the idea of Samuel lending his musical talents to the track, he admitted that he’s not blessed in that department, so will probably just stay out the way; having a tidy up or summat.

He said: “I don’t think my singing will ever sell anything and my rapping is even worse!

“Having me on the song won’t help at all.

“We have started approaching people and I’ve called in a couple of favours.”

The track — likely to be a cover — will raise cash for One For The Boys, which gets men talking about diseases including testicular and prostate cancer.
