Fears are growing for former Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding after she was panned by critics and "hauled off stage" during a theatre performance this week.
The former pop star is currently touring with Ghost The Musical and is playing the lead role of Molly.
However, she was replaced by an understudy during Monday’s show in Blackpool with fans slamming her performance.
One person said: "People stumbling home from the pub singing drunk would be better than what she did.
"She can’t sing and kept messing up her lines, slurring words or speaking when it wasn’t her turn. Her understudy saved the show."
Sarah is apparently on powerful painkillers after she suffered a horrendous injury during Channel 4’s winter sports show The Jump earlier this year, according to the Daily Mirror.
A source said: "Everyone’s telling her she needs to take a break and get her head together. But she won’t."
It has been reported Sarah was taken off stage due to the effects of her painkillers and replaced by her understudy Kelly Hampson during the performance at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens this week.
The star’s representative did not confirm the reason but, according to The Sun, the painkillers, which are being used to help her knee injury, caused her to slur her words and made her stumble on stage.
And the unfortunate incident left theatre goers unimpressed, with an audience member tweeting: "@SarahNHarding was an embarrassment, she can’t sing and kept talking over co-stars’ lines. I won’t be wasting money."

Sarah hasn’t had the best of luck since signing up to take part in the production as she was previously signed off sick with a throat infection.
However, despite being replaced by her understudy earlier this week, Sarah returned to the stage a couple of days later.
A representative told the Daily Mirror: "Sarah had to take six days off to recover from a throat infection, shortly after opening but returned to the show.
"I can’t disclose the specific reason she had to pull out of the second half last night (Monday) but rest assured she’s back on stage tonight."
