Poor ol’ Sarah Harding.

The Girls Aloud singer thought all her Christmases had come at once when she got a starring role on Coronation Street.

But seeing as everyone in the world seems to think she’s a terrible actress, Corrie producers have decided not to extend her contract.

So the four episodes she’s appeared in, playing Joni Preston, is all she’ll appear in.

A source told The Sun: “It's safe to say Sarah's Corrie career hasn't gone as planned. Fans and critics have been pretty unimpressed with her acting.

“It doesn't reflect well on Corrie, who have been accused of chasing ratings with gimmicks. They will not be getting her back and the general consensus on set is that this was a failed experiment.”

During her time on the show, 33-year-old Sarah was given grief by internet trolls over her acting skills. Or lack of…

One fan tweeted: “Sarah Harding is literally the worst actress ever it physically pains me.”

Another added a similar sentiment: “Catching up with #coronation street... oh dear Sarah Harding... not good... not good at all.”

Oh dear.

Well at least she has her new single, Threads, to keep her busy.
