Xtra Factor presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford has revealed that she’s exasperated with X Factor after Paul Akister was sent home.

Speaking exclusively to heat at the launch of the Bootea Detox Smoothie Shake, she said: “I was so upset when Paul left on Sunday – I’ve kept in contact with him because I want to hear more of his music – Paul is a real talent. The public should have voted for him but I suppose it’s the way it goes.”

She explained that she believes Paul’s departure is significant of a wider problem with the public vote: “When Ella left in 2012 it shouldn’t have happened. Anything can happen if people don’t vote - it can all go horribly wrong for people who are really talented."

Sarah-Jane continued: “Jake I loved to bits, Jack I loved to bits. All of Mel’s category I get on really well with. It’s really hard when you watch them go."

She also dismissed the rumours that boyband Stereo Kicks are being torn asunder, saying: “Stereo Kicks aren’t being split up – that isn’t going to happen."

And when we quizzed her on who’ll win the show this year, she said: “Paul would have been in the final this year. Now, Andrea is the favourite.”

We can't wait to see whether her premonition comes true!
