The Saturdays’ Una Foden has announced that she is pregnant with her second baby, which will bring The Saturdays’ collective children count up to four, making them a shoe-in for a record contract (working bandname: ‘Lil’ Saturdayz!’) in the year 2028.
But before that: congratulations, Una!
The Irish singer made the announcement today, sharing a photo of her and her husband Ben Foden’s two-year-old daughter Aoife wearing a T-shirt saying: ‘I’m going to be a big sister!’ If the T-shirt wasn’t clear enough, Una clarified in the caption: “I know lots of people have been guessing and Ben and I can now confirm that Aoife is going to have a baby brother or sister next year!!! We’re all very happy!”
Bandmate Rochelle tweeted her congratulations, saying: “Big Congrats to @UnaTheSats @ben_foden on bubba number 2, amazing news.
'Saturdays Juniors' is forming nicely #auntieagain”. ‘Lil’ Saturdayz!’ is better, Rochelle.
Vanessa White added: “Massive congratulations to @UnaTheSats and @ben_foden such exciting news! I can't wait! Xxx” Frankie and Mollie have yet to say anything, which could either be sign of a rift within the band (!!!) or maybe they are just busy. Hard to say.
