Scarlett Moffatt's certainly come a long way since she first graced our telly screens with her fluffy slippers and witty one-liners on Gogglebox. After being crowned Queen of the Jungle back in 2016, she's joined Ant and Dec as a co-host on Saturday Night Takeway and even bagged her own show, Streetmate.

Now, she's seemingly landed her most high-profile presenting gig to date (as well as bagging an invite to the hottest party in town).

Scarlett will be acting as a royal correspondent for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding, joining a team of famous presenters and DJs reporting on the wedding for the BBC.

Taking to Instagram to break the exciting news to her fans, Scarlett wrote: "So proud to announce I’ll be one of the wedding correspondents for the BBC for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's big day 👸🏻To say I was excited would be an understatement #royalwedding #princeharry #meghanmarkle"

According to the BBC, Scarlett will be checking in to Radio One with hourly reports live from Windsor Castle.

Ant & Dec: Friendship

Ant previously revealed his friendship with Dec started in 1990, when he sent him a Christmas card and invited him to a football match. He said: "And that was that. It just happened immediately. We'd spend all day making each other laugh and annoying everyone and quoting Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer lines to each other."When their parts were written out of Byker Grove, the boys vowed to stick together. Dec told Weekend magazine: "We made a pact. We said to each other, 'Look, whatever happens, I'll always be there for you and you're never in this life on your own or against the world – you've always got a mate looking out for you."Even though they work together, Ant & Dec make sure they go out together at least once a week – and even live three doors apart in London!Dec said: "It's our choice to socialise outside work. Ant & Dec: Britain's Got Talent

Establishing themselves as the busiest presenters in the country, Ant & Dec signed up for Britain's Got Talent in 2006 – and a year later signed a two-year golden handcuffs deal with ITV, which was thought to be worth £40 million.

This comes as welcome news to Scarlett, who's love life hasn't been as rosy as Harry and Meghan's.

She's recently split with Lee Wilkinson after it was alleged he'd cheated on the telly star.

Scarlett was supposed to be going on a trip to Florida with Lee, but after the cheating allegations, decided to take her best friend on the trip instead.

Oh and then branded Lee a 'pathological liar' and continued to live her best life.

Scarlett was later hit by claims from Lee's ex, Sam, that they were still seeing each other while Scarlett was with him.

Even though he's denied there was any crossover, Sam told The Mirror that their relationship was on and off "because he is a liar and a cheater," adding: "I stupidly kept giving him other chances but I was seeing Lee up until January, but it all came out about Scarlett that she’d been seeing Lee through December."

Yikes.
