Scott Thomas is living his best life right now. Not only has his ITV reality telly show Absolutely India: Mancs in Mumbai with brothers Adam and Ryan Thomas been renewed for a second series, but he's also showing off the results of his recent body transformation on Instagram.

The Social PR director and all-round-entrepreneur-type has been pretty vocal about his journey of sobriety of late; taking to social media to address his 'battle' with alcohol. And now - six months after quitting booze - he's shared his most candid post yet.

Joining the conversation in a bid to break the stigma around sobriety in young men, self-confessed 'party boy' Scott opened up about the problems his followers '[wouldn't] have ever even known about.'

Nice one, Scott 💪🏼.

In the emotional video, Scott candidly admits he felt an overwhelming pressure to live up to a certain image in his days as a club promotor; aiming for that typical 'high life' portrayal we're so used to seeing on social media.

He said: "I’m sorry for rambling on so much but this is something I’ve wanted to share with you guys for a very long time but I just never had the courage.

"I obviously shared my body transformation with you guys and celebrated 6 months sober but my journey has been so much more than that."

He continued: "My relationship with alcohol is something I’ve battled with for years and it’s not something you would have ever even known about especially from Instagram. That’s why I think it’s important to use my platform to show not just the highlight reel of my life but also the personal battles I’ve had to over come.

"I hope this video can help someone this morning to make a big decision they’ve been battling with because if you do your whole life can change 👊🙏❤️."

Revealing that his issues with alcohol almost jeopardised his career, Scott said: "Last year at Christmas, I had a blow out that nearly cost me a client, it nearly cost me my business, my relationships with my team, my business partner and basically these blow outs, my body was telling me ‘this isn’t for you anymore. You are capable of so much better and every time you want to go out and drink, I’m going to punish you’.

"There’s no way I was losing the business that I worked so hard for and I wasn’t letting this demon jeopardise that any more."
