Selena Gomez has revealed she’s stopped performing her Justin Bieber-inspired track for her new tour.

The singer kick off her Revival tour earlier this week looking gorgeous as usuaul but for the 23-year-old, the thought of performing ballad The Heart Wants What It Wants - which was written when her and Justin were in a particularly rough patch - was too much to handle.

She told Entertainment Weekly: ”There are things that I can't do.

"I won't be performing this on this tour because I don't want to.

Fair enough, Sel. She continued: "It's like when you smell a scent and it takes you back to a place that maybe wasn't the best place.

"That stuff is a little bit more difficult."

While fans won’t hear the love song at her upcoming shows, Selena will be playing all her new music live for audiences at the concerts.

"For all of my songs, I've got my full band, and everybody is just bringing a different flavour to everything that we've done," she said.

"All the songs have their own charms to them. None of it really sounds like the record."

Justin and Selena's on/off love story came to an end back in 2014 after 3 years.

Back in March this year, Justin posted a throwback image of the pair to Instagram, captioned "feels" which has now become the most ‘liked’ Instagram picture in history!
