We've all heard and been repulsed by the age old notion that we end up marrying our dad (someone like our dad – not literally our dad), and now it looks like Selena Gomez might be living this (frankly very weird) scenario.
Someone on Instagram called 'jelanasenergy', who specialises in Selena and Justin updates (fair enough), has spotted that Selena Gomez's parents look scarily similar to Selena and rumoured boyf The Weeknd.
Lool.
The two have been supposedly dating for about two months now, and have been on holiday, posting on Instagram and the like.
Selena earlier posted a video of The Weeknd in Italy somewhere before deleting it. Apparently forgetting that she probably has about 9492926335544 fans that enjoy nothing more than refreshing her Insta feed and taking screengrabs.
Jelenasenergy (again) posted this video of him chillin on a boat looking cool.
We kinda love him too, tbh.
Justin Biebs recently threw some mega shade at The Weeknd after it emerged that they were dating (as you may be able to tell from jelenasenergy – the two used to go out. Incase you didn't already know.)
When asked by TMZ whether he liked The Weeknd's music, he said: "Hell no, I can’t listen to a Weeknd song. That shit’s wack."

Also throwing shade at The Weeknd (poor hun) was his ex, Bella Hadid's, dad.
Mohamed Hadid posted a pic to Instagram with the caption: "Daddy's little Girl. I love you to the moon and back one thousand and one times. @bellahadid you are the star that lights up the moon. You are the smile that [I]wake up to every morning."
Fans reacted extremely rationally (lol) to this seemingly innocent post, writing things like: "Like wtf mohammed they broke up months ago and just beacuse Abelena pics you tryna shade Selena!! [sic]"
Another had a little more sympathy: "It's wonderful to know Bella's dad is always praising his children with lots of support. I am certain @theweeknd knows that family cares a lot as they loved him too but I wish Abel showed more appreciation towards Bella as the Media (cruel) said Abel is showering @selenagomez with gifts as he treats her as a QUEEN that is why Bella is jealous!! SADNESS!!!!"
