Sarah Jessica Parker recently sent the internet into a frenzy by posting a pic to Instagram that many (us included) mistakenly thought meant* Sex and the City 3* was in the works.
OK, so perhaps we read a little too much into it - after all, it was only a pic of SJP walking Carrie-like through NYC with a Bloomingdale's bag in her hand. It was her slightly weird caption that fooled us - and well, we REALLY want another film (as long as it's a far cry from the second movie, which was pretty awful):
"Well. I guess the cat's out of the (little brown) bag. As usual, we will keep you posted on every detail as we are able. I'm under a strict gag order until then. Xx, Sj'."
Leaving everyone to go completely bananas at Sex and the City rumours for several hours, SJP then left everyone crying into their Cosmos when she posted a few more Instagram posts revealing that actually, she's launching her fancy shoe line into Bloomingdales - not returning as Carrie Bradshaw for a third outing.
"Won't mix business with pleasure. For any and all details, pop over to @sjpcollection. Yours forever, Sj x" she wrote, followed by:
"Pinch me, I'm dreaming. After months and months of sworn secrecy, I can finally shout the news from the rooftop. Or even better, from the iconic @bloomingdales awning. Welcome to New York, @sjpcollection. You're going to love it here. Finally, a permanent home in NYC."
Way to RUIN OUR WEDNESDAYS, SJP - but if you send us some shoes to heat towers, we'll forgive you.
