Shameless star Tina Malone has lost over 11 stone in the last five years, so to celebrate she’s gone and bought herself a new face as part of a £50,000 plastic surgery overhaul.
She’s undergone five surgical procedures this year after saying she wanted a boob job, tummy tuck and work done on her eyes, neck, chin and arm pits (?!) – and the results will all be seen in a brand new TLC docu-series.
The 52-year-old actress, who gave birth to youngest daughter Flame in December 2013, had a gastric band fitted fives years ago, but as the weight dropped off she discovered she had loads of excess skin to carry around.
Speaking ahead of the surgery, Tina said: “I’ve never been a beauty. I never will. But for the first time in my life I want to make the best of myself. I’m really excited about that.
“They reckon I have got around 10lb of skin to get rid of. Then I won’t feel like I’m walking around with two bags of sugar in my knickers.”
She added that she “can’t bear” to carry it around any longer and said being the “fat bird” is “no fun”.
“I’ve lost 11 stone and gained a tummy I can flop on the table. I won’t look like Cheryl Cole – but now I want to see what I look like ¬without it.”
