Sharon Osbourne has made no secret of the fact she’s excited to be returning to The X Factor this year.
She’s gushed about how happy she is at the prospect of sitting alongside Louis Walsh again on the talent show’s panel and says she can’t wait to meet Simon Cowell’s son Eric.
But the real reason she’s so chuffed may be because she’s getting a mahoosive mountain of cash for the gig.
The former Osbournes star is set to get paid a whopping £2 million for returning to the show.
Her contract also includes a big clothing budget, money for luxurious hotel rooms, stylists and first class fights between London and Los Angeles so she can return home to the US for her regular job as a panellist on American show The Talk.
However, X Factor bosses are apparently making a saving as the budget is down £8 million on last year, with Louis and Nicole Scherzinger both earning less than a million.
A source told the Daily Mirror: “Sharon drives a hard bargain and has other commitments but Simon was certain he wanted her for the panel and he is thrilled to have a line up viewers are familiar with and have enjoyed in the past.
“Simon has described it as being like a greatest hits line up.”
And Si won’t have to wait long to be back on the panel with his pals as judges’ auditions begin on Friday 10 June in Leicester.
On her return to the show, Sharon said: “I’m overjoyed about going back to The X Factor, sitting with Lou, gorgeous Nicole and naughty Simon.
“But most of all, I can’t wait to meet baby Eric.”
