Sharon Osbourne has hit out at the Beckhams for encouraging their son Cruz to pursue a pop career.
The X Factor judge and music manager warned the record industry can be very cruel and she thinks that Cruz, at the age of 11, is too young.
She believes he should wait until he is at least 16 years old and should get some practice in at home before then.
She told the Daily Mirror: "He should be singing in his bedroom with a hairbrush or playing for the family with his guitar at Christmas."
She added: "They are great parents, I know them both and they are great people."
However, Sharon’s fellow judge Louis Walsh wasn’t quite as kind about David and Victoria as he took a swipe at the artist formerly known as Posh Spice.
He joked: "At least he can sing better than his mother."
Cruz recently signed with Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun and released his debut single If Every Day Is Christmas in aid of charity.
Meanwhile, Sharon still has her last remaining act Saara Aalto competing in tonight’s X Factor final.
And she hit out at critics who may think the fact Saara is from Finland should count against her because she’s on the UK version of the show.
She said: "If people like the artist it doesn’t matter where they are from."
